A Poem About Nothing Just sit me down in this four-walled space of expression
Leave me alone, unplug the phone in this bland little corner
Where nothing ever goes with anything else
I don’t need lights or sound

Just a few old wax candles
This novel, my paper and pen,
All my pointless writing about nothing
About nothing about nothing about nothing

Just leave me here, let me collect myself
Relieve me of the poison I used last night
Wait – it was this morning. It doesn’t feel the same

I’ve got this little place I go to when I’m feeling blue

The Only Rose Scrape the skin from my body
Pile it up and burn it down

You’re painted like the sunset
You slain my eyes, you’re my bleeding Novocain
Yet it makes my stomach churn
To taste your agate eyes

I put my thoughts of you
Every night under my pillow
In hopes that they come true
And when the sun falls on this gray world
I wake in horror – it’s over
But then the thought comes
I have found the only rose
Without a single thorn
Fallen Angel Your hate has locked away my heart
The key is lost and so departs
My mind with all its happy thoughts
My attempts for love are all for naught

A shell outside to you I seem
Inside my soul, in pain, I scream
In stone is set my saddened face
Hate, doubt and fear replace

Innocence, love, curiosity
Trapped with only apathy
To guide my actions and what I say
I only seek to end this day

Sleep has never been so dear
A brief respite from daily fear
For what the next dawn may contain
Death sounds sweet yet I remain

Now grown strong, I still endure
Torture that my mind conjures
The demons of my dreams preside
Every night they make me
Broken Without A Remedy Walk along the forgotten beach
Watching sandy footprints fade
Look to the horizon where I can’t reach
AS I sit where we both once laid
This left behind, now so simple to remember
We sat alone gazing at the night sky
Asleep in your arms as the fire dies to ember
Soothed by the ocean waves’ constant sigh

Sailor Mars - the Princess of the Fiery Planet, Mars. She's got brains, beauty and a bitchy attitude to boot.

I was wanting to get around to drawing the other Sailor Scouts [I'm going to redo Sailor Moon because she didn't turn out that good], but I got an extra nudge from a certain someone [you know who you are].

This piece was drawn and colored on Photoshop Elements 5.0. I used a sparkle brush pack from the awesomely talented :iconredheadstock:

Very well done!! If I didn't know better I would have mistaken this for a screenshot from the show! Wonderful!! :love:

She was deffinately one of the most interesting and dirty thought pravoking characters on the show... :nod:

Sailor Moon: Keeping adolesent teen boys dreaming of miniskirted young girls for over two decades... :D
